Jim Douglas
Jim started playing music at the age of six. At age nine, Jim performed his first "paid" performance with the Chestnut Creek Ramblers. This "Virginia Mountain" area band shared the stage with professional artists including Bill Monroe, Jim & Jessie, Flat & Scruggs, Dolly Parton and Hank Snow. He later studied at the Berkley School of Music under the instruction of Richard Falco and has recorded on three nationally distributed CDs, as a studio musician for RCA records. Jim plays and teaches guitar, banjo, mandolin, dobro, fiddle, dulcimer and steel guitar for Showtime Music Center.
